Amherst Physical Therapy was founded in 1978 at its original location in Amherst, NY. The office moved to North Buffalo in 1981 and to its present location on Delaware Avenue in 1988. An expansion of the Delaware Avenue clinic in 2001 provided increased exercise facilities, equipment and an in-ground therapeutic pool in order to facilitate early rehabilitation for all orthopedic injuries, arthritic conditions and chronic pain syndromes.
Longtime Amherst PT therapist Martin Koslosky bought the practice in 2016, and has maintained same level of patient-centered, one-on-one care that our patients have come to expect. In addition, he has given the clinic a make-over, providing a calm and welcoming environment that compliments patient care.
Our 3,700 sq. ft. facility offers 6 private treatment rooms, a large gym space, and a heated in-ground aquatic therapy pool, making us the only clinic in the City of Buffalo to offer this level of service. In 2017, we partnered with MedBridge Education to provide our patients with a user friendly home exercise and education platform. MedBridge also gives our therapists unlimited access to year-round continuing education, keeping them up to date on the latest research and techniques.
